In order to answer this question, we have to understand what is Racism! According to google, Racism is “prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one’s own race is superior.”
I want to go back in American History when slaves were brought to America and around the world from Africa which is one of the biggest act of “racism” done in human History. When Europe started colonizing Africa, they saw people barely covered with clothes that had different color and lived in a very different way than they did. In a time where Monarchs still ruled and women had no rights, they must have seen them as sub-humans.
I don’t mean that what they did was wrong, they just didn`t know or understand that every human was born equal.
But the thing that bothers me most is when people still believe that racism exists. in America, people actually think that there inequality in the society.
I am a Christian Armenian and lived in the Middle East home. We were living in peace thanks to the government that had accepted us hundred years ago after the Armenian Genocide, but we were surrounded by rebels who wanted only their religion in Arabia and so the war started and we had to leave a place we learned to call home.
That`s real racism.
